Turkeys--a school poem for Thanksgiving

 Turkeys

All the classrooms filled with turkeys,
The week before Thanksgiving Day.
Kindergartners traced around hands.
First-graders used papier-mâché.

Grade Two stuck feathers in pine cones.
Grade Three cut out a paper plate.
Grade Four pinned gumdrops on apples.
Grade Five stuffed bags to decorate.

We loved the turkeys at our school,
So imagine how we’ll feel,
Tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day,
When we’re served turkey at our meal.

MVP: Magellan Voyage Project Dress-Up Party

I was only there virtually, but it was great fun at the MVP party in Wichita, Kansas.  No Mountain Dew, though.

Noe School--a book without a solitary E

Principal Ouia has cut this non-consonant following D and prior to F from his school's curriculum.  Only Barnaby Mississippi in Class 4 is suspicious of his principal's motivation.  This book for boys and girls contains not a solitary E.
